Pricing & Policies

Mobile service fees are based on:

• Distance traveled
   
• Appointment duration
   
• Location accessibility
   

Tolls, parking, and special access fees are the responsibility of the client and will be added where applicable.

• Appointments must be booked in advance online.
   
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
   
• Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute reschedules for mobile services may result in a fee of $50 or the full travel fee.
   
• If a signer is unavailable, lacks valid ID, or documents are not ready, the service fee may still apply.
   

A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required:

• Driver’s License
   
• State ID
   
• Passport
   

If proper ID is not presented, the notarization cannot be performed, and applicable service fees may still apply.

• Clients are encouraged to provide their own witnesses.
   
• If witnesses must be provided by Modern Notaire, this must be requested in advance.
   
• Witness Fee: Starting at $25 per witness

Accepted payment methods:

• Credit/Debit Cards
   

• Cash (in-person only)
   

Payment is due:

• At booking for online services
   
• At time of service for mobile/in-person services

All services are performed with:

• Strict confidentiality
   
• Full compliance with NYS notary law
   
• The highest ethical and professional standards
   

Your documents and personal information are always handled with discretion.

Modern Notaire reserves the right to refuse service for:

• Missing/invalid identification
   
• Incomplete or improper documentation
   
• Suspected fraud, coercion, or unlawful activity
   
• Any circumstance that violates notary law or professional standards
